Alan Bixby is a former broadcaster and independent video producer/director who has explored the mountain west with his co-producer wife Nancy for more than three decades. Together, they have lived and roamed Central Idaho, Colorado, Montana, the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Los Angeles and Whidbey Island, in Washington State. They are the parents of one married daughter and have two grandsons.
